Outlook to the coming decade, three trends of SAP Bank / Banking Services from SAP are in expectation.

1. SAP Bank should transform into a more easy-to-use software. This means the interaction between users and the software becomes more like the interaction between a user and his intelligent assistant, even it appears to be non-logical and non-database software, although certainly it is logical and based on database.

2. SAP Bank should transform into a more dynamic software. For example the machine learning mechanism of SAP Loans ---- by checking that in S4Hana 1909 ---- is mainly based on K-means approach, and a relatively static method. The coming generations of SAP Bank might become more dynamic and draw business decisions and take business actions on real time or quasi real time basis. So the system could have an insight into the data much deeper than its users.

3. SAP Bank should transform into a more open software. Considering the fast changing supervision and market and customer requirements, it is not possible for any single company ---- including SAP SE ---- to catch up with the changes or even to lead the changes. But the market itself could do this, so just like PSD2 opens the era of open banking, SAP Bank also needs peripheral companies to provide supports. SAP SE needs to encourage and to lead third parties to build an SAP Bank ecosystem and to regulate and to standardize it.
