HANA Cloud for function consultants (Part Five): Set up Database Explorer and deploy Fiori App
With these components (CDS, OData, App etc.), function consultants could effectively analyze the business requirements of the client and write specs with more flexibility, function consultants could achieve business design targets more efficiently and accurately. When the URL is ready from HANA, need to logon to the SAP Database Explorer with Cloud username.
HANA Cloud for function consultants (Part Four): CDS Data Model and debug in Business Application Studio
By set up the CDS, when the mouse hovers over the concepts, the screen/system will prompt relevant message. For example, the SAP HANA Client version is 2.6, then we need to replace the old value in the template with this new value.
HANA Cloud for function consultants (Part Three): Create Dev Space, project and check connection
This step will create new a Dev Space. We could imagine/understand the concept of Dev Spaces as a simplified virtual VM (Virtual Machine): SAP takes care of the VM settings. Actually, Dev Space is easier to be deployed/maintained than a usual VM. It takes about one or ten minutes to create a new Dev Space.
